Silver Star Pictures has been providing exceptional portrait, event and commercial photography services in the DFW Metroplex since 1997.
We are pleased to bring our Pop-up Retail services to the Shops at Legacy. Throughout the year we provide hand-crafted custom portrait photography to families and commercial photography to businesses. We also provide services for special holiday seasons such as Easter and Christmas. All of our sets are uniquely designed for each season and backdrops are professional designed and some are hand-painted for each special occasion. Our goal is to give visitors to the Shops at Legacy a unique photographic experience with high quality service, a value priced package and the convenience of on-line purchasing.

Due to Covid 19, there are some changes to our services and function but much fewer than last season. We intend to continue to incorporate safety protocols – but our goal is still to provide your family with a wonderful experience!
Q- What are the dates and times for Santa Visits?
A- Please go to our Holiday Schedule page for dates and times. The appointment calendar is available on that page as well so you can schedule a date and time most convenient to you.
Q- Where is Santa Located?
A- Next to Mi Cocina at 5760 Legacy Drive B-8, Plano TX 75024.
Q- Do you require masks to visit your studio?
A- Texas does not currently have a mask mandate at this time. Each guest can decide if they’d prefer to wear one or not while visiting the Santa set. We will follow the local and state government mandates and should they change we will adjust accordingly. Please check our site before your visit to adapt to any changes.
Q- Do you accept Walk-ins?
A- Yes. We always recommend reservations but walk-ins are accepted. Please understand that families that make reservations have priority and walk-in customers will be given time with Santa as the schedule allows. Wait times could exceed one hour, but we do our best to accommodate everyone.
Q- Can Walk-ins make appointments while visiting the shoppe?
A-Yes, We do recommend making your reservations ahead to ensure you get a time convenient to you.
Q- Is there a minimum session fee to visit Santa?
A-There is a $60 fee required at the time of booking. Your deposit includes your special time with Santa and a $60 credit towards any digital or print photo purchase.
Q- Can I reschedule after making my appointment?
A- Our booking system allows you to easily reschedule through a link in the confirmation text or email that you initially received. If you registered you can also enter your account and change your appointment. Finally, if need be you can email us and we can make those changes for you.
Q- What if I have to cancel or if I am a "no show?"
A-There are no refunds or cancellations after you have booked your appointment, however, if you let us know in advance of your appointment that you are unable to visit, we will send you a coupon to apply your payment toward our Live Bunny sessions in the spring. If you are a no-show there is no accommodation. You are always able to reschedule as long as there are appointments available.
Q- What should I do if my kids or I get sick?
A-Please do not bring your child or any other family member that is showing symptoms of illness of any kind. You may log into your account and reschedule your appointment.
Q- Where do I park?
A- Public parking is available throughout the shopping center. Please allow time for parking when you are planning your visit so you are not running late. This is especially important right before closing. Santa leaves promptly.
Q- Does your shop have public restrooms?
A- We have restrooms in our Shoppe AND if you arrive early enough you can also change clothes for your visit.
